Such analysis is exceptionally sensitive to the choice of end points and the number of data points.
For instance, the baseline used for much climatic analysis (the 1920's-1930's were exceptionally good years on a millenia time frame.
It is utterly trivial to get any conclusion you want.
There is not the slightest doubt whatsoever that global warming is both real and at least partially human driven.
