Re: Question re. Global Warming

It is interesting to not that not one of the global warming proponents
has produced any global warming numbers for analysis. Don't know about
you readers of this newsgroup, but given the PR on global warming, I
would have expected someone to step forth and present the numbers that
support the concept of global warming. I suppose I'm odd, in wanting to
know what the known facts are.

I suppose that I'm on my own in this regard, wanting to know what the
facts are and not simply arm waving claims, so I'll probably begin
cross-posting onto some of the environmental newsgroups. Then too, I
suspect that will only get me flames, without providing any insight at
all into the facts. In fact, I plan to do just that, prompted by the
amount of hate mail I have received to date. evidently the 'global
warming crowd' does not like to have their conclusions and beliefs
questioned on a scientific basis, similiar to the UFO crowd and the
ridiculous conspiracy theory people. I must remind these guys that
what you believe may or may not be scientific fact.

Considering that I don't publish on Usenet using my current email
address (to avoid spam), it is amazing to me how many people have dug
up my current email address to admonish me on my efforts. Sounds to me
that by asking a few basic questions, I have "pissed on someone's
parade".

I find this sad, and funny at the same time.
