Sounds outrageously low for anything larger than a small golf cart.
A nominal rule of thumb for an electric vehicle at reasonable speeds is 20 kilowatts. If you get 40 miles on this in an hour, then 20 kilowatt hours for 40 miles.
A 300 mile range would need around 150 kilowatt hours minimum.
Probably quite a bit more.
Charging an electric vehicle off the grid at home is fundamentally insane.
