Right -- hydrogen is completely non-polluting, which is its great
advantage.
1) you're ignoring NO2 emmissions
2) you're ignoring pollution from hydrogen generation.
You're right. I should have said when burned in fuel cells and when
the source is non-polluting.
Only when you find a H2 well. Until then, you have the polution at the
source
and twenty times what it would be otherwise due to the inefficiencies with
H2 generation, transport, and consumption.
Oh, for ***'s sake. The wind ain't polluting, the environmental
effects of wind generation are minor by comparison to other sources,
and as to your twenty times "figure," I can only suppose it's a
running count of the farts you emit as you type this uninformed tripe.
If you have wind power, why would you do something as silly as make hydrogen
with it?

Now here are some questions for for you: What kind of garbage mind can
transmute wind, probably the least polluting practical energy source
we have, and hydrogen, probably the least polluting practical energy
carrier, into dirty ones? What benighted planet did it originate on?
How did it get here? Is it susceptible to common bug sprays?
