Hopefully NONE !

Hydrogen for transport use is nothing more or less than an boondoggle
for a few
ppl. It's a perfect example of wastefulness *par excellence* that
makes gasoline
look like the ultimate 'green' fuel.

The truthful answer is, probably somewhere between 10 and 200. I know
that there are a lot of 'demonstration' projects, where some car company
'loans' a hydrogen car to a city or university for PR purposes. They
think it shows how 'green' they are...

Rather like the availability of "flexible" fuel cars. I saw a traffic
stop ahead of me a flex fuel Chevy the other day. I wonder where they
are getting their 85% ethanol - 15% gasoline mixture. I've never seen a
single service station with that mix adverstised. BTW this was in a
suburb of Chicago.

They don't have to use E85. That's the whole point about the *flex* in
flex-fuel.

Graham

Of course, otherwise why refer to it by that name. But then again why buy one if there is an approach to zero number of stations that provide the 85% ethanol fuel? I am sure it cost considerably more than a conventional gasoline engine Chevy.
