WHY?
Not least because such a car couln't operate beyond an inductively equipped
road. Any power cut and you come to a halt too and there's nothing you can do
about it.
The coils would weigh more than the battery
SHOW US WHY YOU SAY THAT?
You just don't get it do you ?
To work with a large air gap, the coils have to be physically very large. That
means *VERY HEAVY* !
