fuel cell toy Car

Hi, my name is Sara, and I teach High School physical science. This is
my first year and, last week looking in my storage room I found this
toy car which works with a hydrogen fuel cell, I made it work , and I
would like to show it to my students since we are learning about
alternative sources of energy, but I am not really sure about how the
cell works, can somebody help me?
