You can figure $45,000 for an electrolisizer and around $12K a month in platinized platinum electrode maintenance. Except that nobody will sell you one. They will not even tell you how much they cost.
But that does not matter in the least the instant the local hazmat folks find out you are an unstable terrorist creating mind bogglingly explosive bombs and run you out of the county on a rail.
One former SEH poster created that large hole in the map between California and Colorado where Northern Nevada used to be. Their garage did not quite go suborbital in their attempt at simultaneously winning both the X prize and a Darwin award.
