Don already pointed out the ineffiencies of using a fluid driving a
propeller rather than a direct drive. Note waterwheels are in
practice considerably less efficient than propellers. Why do you
think paddle wheels have essentially disappeared from commercial use?

First, it has no hardly any through space which is the biggest loss
factor, second, water wheels that used the correct amount of water
are not inefficiant at all.
20 lbs of water in a bucket falling and in turn getting 100's of lbs of
force
from such is hardly inefficient.
Why would you say such?


The assertion that you will get multiple turns from a single expansion
appears to be without any foundation. Feel free to back it up with
detailed derivations.

The length of the stroke is the key.

Finally follow all the earlier advice and read up on thermodynamics
and it's applicability to heat engines. Especially since that is
what you are attempting to design.

The engine on the website is the same "heat loss" as a normal ICE
per bang except the fact that less heat is generated per revolution to begin
with.
Did you look at the engine at all?
If you looked you might see what I mean.
