Stainless Steel Electrodes
Reading on Wikipedia about electrolysis of water, I find that people
use platinum or stainless steel as electrodes. However, on the anode,
if a reactive metal is used (stainless steel) the electrode gets
depleted. Since platinum is too expensive, do people use graphite for
on a production scale or is platinum the only viable option?
