James, as a purely amateur mechanics, I agree with your descrption
of the technology.

Ok, you have been accused of asking stupid questions, so here is
my stupid question.

What is the scientific explantion of how a hybrid vehicle achieve
superior fuel efficency when every step in the hybrid car
confituration wastes energy at every stage in the conversion
process. So where does the additional fuel efficiency stem from?
Do hybrid vechicles employ regernative braking which partially
charges their batteries at every braked stop?

Some do, some don't, the best ones do.
Even the ones that don't use regen' braking get better gas mileage
than the normal ICE would.
:)
The superior ability comes from the simple fact of conservation of
energy When you conserve energy, (charge the batteries) it can be
used again. :)

That's wrong..
the savings come from not having to operate the engine outside its
optimum range.

That is conservation of energy.

No it isn't its conservation of fuel.

Same difference.
fuel = energy in the long run.
Conserve it (the fuel use) better and you get more energy
from the same amount of fuel
Hybrids do this very well.
Again you are saying hybrids can not exist.
:)

sheesh.
Using the energy to it's best performance range.

Bull sh!t.

Not bull*** at all,
It is how engines can make electricity that can be better
used than the simple engine use only.

You haven't done the experiment with any great success have you?
I wonder why?
I know I don't need to repeat your flop to know why it doesn't work.

You say I have not done the experiment and that is correct,
so if I have not done such, how is it my flop?
Again, you would need to do the experiment yourself
to prove it to yourself.
And if I actually did such and it worked, you would just
say it didn't and never actually try it for yourself.
At least I do have thoughts of trying it for myself,
unlike you seem to even think about doing.
:)

It wasn't a dumb question, however it was a dumb questioner.
You have the answer in several ways, most are a total waste of time
as you have no idea what they mean.
Even the ones you should understand you choose to get wrong.

You are so lost it is kinda funny now.
LOL

Time for you to go back to school and learn some maths.

Time for you to learn some real world facts that math alone
can't show you.
LOL
Of course, you won't though because your math won't
allow you to actually try things physically instead of only
mathematically.
It is your limit, not mine.
:)
