Of course it's not. Ian doesn't respond to what you actually say, he makes
up something different. That's the method used by his group in their
attacks on various newsgroups.

Go Google on "alt.syntax.tactical" and you'll see all the elements. A
handful of names that have been around a few weeks or months, and thus
don't look like outside attackers (but who haven't actually contributed
much to the groups they are infiltrating), followed by a massive, cross-
posted troll that's so stupid it can't possibly be real, and bunches of
names that have never appeared on Usenet before jumping in.

Mind you, they're *no* ast. Not nearly good enough to be. But they are ast
wannabes.
