PV cells use fuel oil to get their workers to work on the bus, use coal and
a little uranium to make their electricity and such. The cells themselves
are sand with a little arsenic (also found in apple seeds if I recall),
phosphorous (also found in human bone), and some aluminum, copper, and some
kind of solder like metal I expect. You probably would not want to eat it,
but mostly it would just grind at your teeth. The poisons (you are probably
referring to the dopants), except for whatever is serving to connect the
copper wires together, are locked in the silicon and you will not get them
out with your body acids.
