At what price? I figure your hydrogen is about $1/kg?

Well if you add hydrogen + coal instead of using all coal like in
Sasol's plants, then it's probably more expensive (than all coal).

Wind is supposed to be 3c/kwh soon. So 50 kwh at say, 4c/kwh (to
include the cost of the electrolyzer) would be $2/kg.

So 100kgs hydrogen = $200
1 ton coal = $30? 50?
That would make about 6-7 barrels I think.

So that's ($230-$250)/6.5 or about $35-40 per barrel, neglecting the
plant and the heat the operation needs. Not sure how much heat that
is.

Current costs for wind would probably make hydrogen $2.50 /kg which
would be an extra $50 per 100 kg or $7 a barrel. So you're about
right...low to mid 40s in coal and hydrogen.

Hopefully wind prices will come down to 2-3 kwh not including
electrolyzer.
