william mook responded quite defensively to a reasonable question:

Not by a stretch of the imagination. By observation. The only place I have
ever heard of Mook Industries is on this Newsgroup -- and I try to pay
attention to what is going on in the world.
FedEx started off with nothing but a then-unproven idea -- that willing
customers would pay a premium for overnight delivery. The "best" brains at the
Harvard Business School did not think much of the idea. It took a huge
investment to put the delivery system in place before it could start earning
money -- yet FedEx managed it.
Go back and read you what you have written -- a litany of why none of the
obvious stakeholders would ever put any resources into your plan to
revolutionize the vital world energy industry, create immense global profits,
and transform the world for the better. Ask yourself the question -- where is
the hold-up?
