After Redford was elected, he asked his political and campaign
advisor: "What do we do now." (Perhaps not his exact words, but close
enough!)
Your really should rent and view "The Candidate", particularly now
while campaign fever is in full swing. It contains very memorable
dialogue, although I am not much of a Robert Redford fan. Also
remarkable was his babble in the limo after debating his opponent
"Crocker Jarvis" or hitting the campaign trail....IIRC it started off
as "We will house the homeless...feed the foodless...job the
jobless...clothe the clueless" and then Redford went into a stream of
meaningless babble.
Same as today's campaign. That is, get elected no matter what you have
to promise, then worry about the details after you hold office.
