I agree with qualification.
If the HCCI is a reciprocating otto motor possibly so, however the
quasiturbine is inherently a HCCI engine and may not need this. HCCI
engines can still have spark plugs attached for opperating in certain
ranges where the HCCI principle doesn't work well.
