So? Just means the money collected to do it is drawing interest.

Look at the implications though. We now have even more evidence that the
waste isn't that hard to deal with, as we have decades of data showing
that it doesn't hurt anyone sitting about in pools of water on the
surface, even when the spent fuel is ten of thousands of times more
radioactive than it would be when buried 600 metres down, in multilined
containers, surrounded by bentonite clay, where there are no pool of
water.
