The most amusing part of the situation is that we are the ones most
likely to develop the technology necessary to kick the oil habit. Of
course, that technology will probably be nuclear -- which <ahem> doesn't
count for Kyoto. So much for the facade of actually being written to
reduce CO2 emissions.
