everything is compressible, as far as I know. You can say
incompressible, which is wrong, or you can say nearly incompressible,
which is almost right.
There may be places with water columns hundreds of kms high. You need to
know it for centrifuge work, earthquake protection, float design, etc.
You can ignore it, or you can get used to it. Some people seem to have
trouble just admitting it.
I only brought it up because there are many who actually believe water
is incompressible.
