It won't be done with lasers for a very long time, if ever. The
efficiency stinks. At that, the noon sun where I live delivers that much
power to every square 35 meters on a side. I don't have any volcanoes.
In fact, I go out and garden in this 'very intense' radiation seemingly
without harm.
Do you have a cell phone? If so, why don't you consider that dangerous?
