I have a friend who "inherited" one of these big old dinosaurs from
the 1980's when he bought his house. He uses cable TV, and the
satellite service provider doesn't want the old one back, they use a
newer, smaller model now. The bowl could be lined with foil and used as
a solar cooker. The adjustments on the base can be used for solar
tracking. Not a new idea, but I'm glad you brought it up, thanks.-Jitney
