cost of lights in winter?

Anybody have even a rough estimate of the percentage of the electric bill that goes for lights for the winter in a Northern US location?

The reason I'm asking is that I have started to replace our incandescent bulbs with CF bulbs, and am impressed that they use only 1/4 of the electricity for the same light output, and am looking for some idea of the payback time.
