Re: cost of lights in winter?



I've heard 20 - 25% of the trillions of kW-hr grid energy/year but it
must be higher in winter.

Maybe you could save even more juice by becoming an astronomer.

Where I live they don't have street lights. This is dangerous for
cyclists but they claim they are fighting -- get this --"light
pollution" but everyone knows they are just too cheap to pay the power
bill.
