It is the resistance to the wind that drives your turbine.
Two scenarios:
1)Your car has just enough power to maintain a constant speed of 50mph
on flat road. Up pops your turbine- either the car slows down a bit, or
you have to apply more throttle (and use more gas, and increase
pollutants) to maintain the car at 50mph
2) This ones a bit childish but makes the point - you state that you
estimate fuel savings of 10%. If you fit 10 of these on your car, does
the car no longer require fuel?.....no
But dont give up, at least you're trying, which is more than can be
said for the other 99.99%
