I've driven my car lots of times for a week or more without
refueling. Just depends on how many miles I drive in a week.
And at any rate, "supposedly" doesn't cut it. Tesla also supposedly
personally caused the Tunguska explosion. Just because there's a legend
of such a thing doesn't mean that one must swallow it whole. If one
knows enough stuff about how the world works, then one can decide on
the plausibility of the legend. Tesla was an intelligent nutball who
fell in love with electricity. Don't be foolish enough to grant him
more credit than he warrants.
