A water molecule is two atoms of hydrogen and one of oxygen.
Any dissolved or suspended materials in a given volume of
water are irrelevant as we were discussing pure water.

The point was that the hydrogen and oxygen in water are 
already burnt.  That's why water is used to put out fires.
(There are exceptions, as in certain chemical fires.)

And I believe I'm satisfied with this discussion, too.
Having gone from simple chemistry to base comedy, I shall retire
from the debate.  Carry on, as I know you will.
