Just the starch is used, about 75% of the kernel. The remainder is animal feed.
Bushel of grain means kernels only.

When ethanol is produced from corn is it the corn kernals, husk or both that
are fermented?
Also does a bushel of corn mean the entire ear of corn or just the kernals?
