Offer me something that can run my toaster and dishwasher at the same time.
Like I said
it is not a cure all or intended to replace your local utility. It is
simply a way for eco-conscious individuals to reduce thier
contributions to Co2 emissions, dependence on foriegn energy supplies,
and protect thier future utility costs from rising carbon/nuclear-based
utility rates.

The SERVICE is not bogus. No one said the system would supply all of
the electrical needs of an average American home. The system is
designed to help reduce foriegn dependence and overall Co2 emissions.
It also offers a "hedge" against the inevitably increasing
carbon/nuclear-based electrical utility rates. In most households, the
occupants are gone during the day, when the system is producing. The
system would offset the usage at night when you are using grid power.
This is not a "cure all", but it is good start. If you have a better,
more affordable solution... which can be implemented NOW, I for one
would love to here about it. Please feel free to investigate the big
picture before making judgment... I figure that is fair.
Oh, by the way, what happens at night? What happens when thick dark
clouds cover the sun?
What happens in the winter when ice forms on the solar collecters and
weighs down my roof?
And who fill fix the thing when it breaks?
