Synchromizing generators is simple.
Since you never synchronize them
to a network, you synchronize them to a remote switching
panel.

Uh...you don't know what you are talking about. It is *exactly* the
grid (or network) that needs to be synched too.

I know exactly what I'm talking about, since the moron grid is
propriety
GE/Pentagon moron crap.. Whereas
nuclear cruise accelerate your life.

The synching

???? This is moronic. I do this for a living, you only read about it.
The person wanted to know about synching to the system.

I obviously don't give a *** what you do for a living Since I've
already paralelled more generators on nuclear reactors, Catepillar
Tractors, and Ford pickup trucks than you will be ever see in your
entire moron Exxon life.

I think he may have stayed in a Holiday Inn Express once...

Yeah, I think so....I don't think he really gets the original
question, which was about sources for this sort of thing.

I saw the result of paralleling a breaker 20 degrees out - of - phase.
They use smooth bore bearings, not actually ball bearings or roller
bearings on the big suckers. there usually is about 20 millimeters of
babit (a kind of lead/alloy) then the brass. the babit was vaporized,
probably taken away by the steam seals, it was never found. The brass
bearing housing was actually wiped down about 1/2 inch. totally
destroyed. Glad i wasn't the one doing the paralleling THAT night.
