I was wondering if it is possible to send electricity BACK through a
household WALL OUTLET and into the electrical meter.
It doesn't go into the meter (any more than power comes out of the meter), it
goes into the 'grid' but I know what you mean.
If so, what kind of equipment is necessary to make this work?
A 'generator' in the loosest sense of the word - i.e. a source of power (in a
suitable form). Typically a specific form of inverter.
