Fuel efficiency not allowed in the US

Geo Metro killed (58mpg) VW Jetta TDI banned (50+mpg) 80mpg European
diesels banned from importation. Citroen's 60mpg cars banned from
import. All high mileage cars banned in the US. You may buy a Ford
powerstroke diesel (10mpg) or a GM Duromax diesel (11mpg) or a Dodge
truck with a Cummings diesel (12mpg) or a Hummer (8mpg).

Don't do anything to reduce oil consumption or fuel taxes for the
government. Capitalist bottom line is profit, profit, profit. Don't
screw the stockholders. Screw the air and environment!
