Well if everyone plowed one acre with oxen, maybe it'll work out.
How long could it take to plow one acre with oxen?
Two days?
Maybe we could make plowing a field like a cruise ship vacation.
Get 'em to pay to fly out to nowhere to plow a field.
You know, back to nature and all that.
What percentage of the US energy economy do cruises represent? air
travel? It seems you are making agriculture more energy intensive -
and lessproductive - by flying people who are clueless about farming
to farms to play around with oxen. Why is it morons - like Pol Pot -
and others who think like him - think nothing of telling people to go
to the farms and make food - as if their mere presence solves the
problem! haha.. That's like saying sending people to operating rooms
will solve the shortage of quality medical care in this country.
There's no reason to believe that anyone untrained in the medical arts
arriving at a hospital is capable of delivering quality medical care.
Similarly there is no reason to believe that anyone arriving untrained
at a farm is capable of growing quality crops at decent yields.
Besides, what do you do with the oxen? Keep them in the back yard as
a family pet? What do they feed them? Purina oxen chow? I guess you
could have online training practicing in your back yard. How many
oxen can you fit in the cargo section of a 747? What about the vets
and oxen vaccines?
A hectare of solar panels generates 6600 GJ per year. So, 422,507
hectares of solar panels are needed to generate the needed energy.
This represents 1% of the cultivated land.
The solar collector could be in the area between crop circles.
Non-sequitor... as your whole thought process - might I suggest you
cut back on those mind altering substances before you post.
