The NASA Louis Research Center apparently did some study on a gas
turbine-powered city bus in 1997. There was an article at
http://www.grc.nasa.gov/WWW/RT1996/6000/6920v.htm discribing the planned
study. I wonder what happened. It would also be interesting to hear what
such a ehicle would sound like.

I beleive DCGT engines can vary power and toqrue more efficiently.
