Thos numbers are an irrelevance. They were as Daestrom correctly says 'the faithful'. They'd have bought the EV1 if looked like a

If people want box-carts, then sell them box-carts. Why not ?
The point is, the EV1 was much more than a box-cart. It was a small, fast gasoline free sport model.
Tell me one thing : for which GM car model was there even a waiting list ? And was that model and the people on the waiting list
treated the same as the one for the EV1 ?
