I've been using Utrafractal for several years starting with one of the
earlier versions, 2.5 I believe. I've tried several others and it is far
and away the best fractal generator that I've found. Fredrik Slijkerman
and those who've contributed formulae deserve a lot of credit for this
program. As stated by others, the learning curve can be steep, but I've
found from using Photoshop and Macromedia programs that there is a great
deal of intuitiveness to Ultrafractal. The permutations are endless.
And by exporting to Photoshop and adding more effects, the results can be
stunning.
