=??Q?Mac_OS_X_program=3F?=

Please don't flame me if I'm wrong here with my question and instead point me to a forum or community where I can ask it.
I'm looking for a really good, full featured software for calculating fractals for the Mac OS X platform (10.4, "Tiger").
Something like Ultra Fractal for the Windows world. Or at least like Fractint was for DOS.
OS X is several years old and I can't imagine that there isn't at least ONE single serious program.
There's "FraxPlorer" from the KPT Photoshop Plugin Suite -- but that's
1) a Photoshop Plugin and not a standalone application
2) from 2001 or such
3) only capable of doing z^2, z^3 and newton types with their corresponding julia sets.
And I have a dual G5 PowerMac -- so I'd like to see the real power of two CPUs!
(I know the benchmark-like fractal program "AltiVec Fractal Carbon" program -- but that's really more of a benchmark than a comfortable fractal program with lot's of types and lot's of features like "Ultra Fractal".)
Any OS X fans here?
Thanks,
Stefan. (if you want to email me, don't reply. instead send to stef (at) nwolfrum.de
