Re: Aliens Of The Deep - 3D Strange Attractor jelly animals

Clifford Pickover noticed that some time back ( 80's in his magazine, I think) in certain Julias.
There is a lot of speculation ( some by Dr. Pickover) but little proof that data about shape in DNA is stored in
natural fractal affine data ( L-system like, not IFS).
The fact that many animal shapes ( like fish) can be morphed by affine distortion from one species to another
is given as evidence.

Hello there, I don't know if anyone of you have seen this film or not but I noticed that some of the deep sea jelly animals (Deepstaria enigmatica) bare a startling resemblance to 3D strange attractors. I have been playing with these attractors for sometime now and I always thought they looked very organic.
