Fractal cosmology: supernova analogy

For all you fractal cosmology lovers out there, I have a new addition
to my website that presents an unorthodox new cosmological idea:
viewing the "Big Bang" in terms of an analogy to a supernova. The idea
is not as hokey as it might initially sound.
To get a 60-second summary of the idea, go to
www.amherst.edu/~rloldershaw and click on the link "Galactic Scale
Self-Similarity". On that page go straight to "Section II. Preview".
If the preview sounds promising, you can download and read the whole
page, which goes through the idea quantitatively and qualitatively.
If the preview sounds unpromising, see if you can identify any fatal
errors in the reasoning or factual content. I would be very interested
in hearing about such errors.
Thanks in advance for checking this out this brand new page,
Rob
