Sure it does. Suppose someone is stopped by the cops and their license
is checked. If the number on the card doesn't come up in the computer,
it is a safe bet that the license is forged.

So scientists had been looking for evidences of a great, world-wide
flood. They examined the evidence, but could find *no evidences* for a
single Flood event. What does that prove? It demonstrates there was no
flood event.

So until you come up with something to the contrary, it is a safe bet to
proclaim that you are a felon hiding under an assumed name? Evidence? Of
course I have no evidence that you are a felon. But in absence of
evidence to the contrary, it is a safe bet to proclaim that you are one.
