Great Lord "news" <acorso@moon.odn.ne.jp>, braving the raging storm,
scaled the mighty crag called alt.atheism on Sun, 13 Jun 2004 23:06:10
+0900 and screamed this to the uncaring Gods.
> if I come across to brash I apologize
> first off you are assuming that the earth has always appeared the same
>today as it did yesterday... has the same mountains valleys plateaus that we
>see today...this is the first mistake secondly you are not considering that
>there is a whole lot of water out there in the oceans rivers lakes streams
>brooks springs ponds pools air ice ect. ect....in the bible the first
>mention of mountains and valleys is post
>flood, so if you do a little research you will find out that if you flatten
>out all of the mountains and raise up the valleys the dry land is pretty
>much flat (plus the depth of the ocean is about 3 times the heighest
>mountain(thats alot of water))...its a ratio of 70 - 30(dry) is pretty much
>flat and in this case the earth would be flooded higher than mount everest
>by about 200 meters(pretty deep if you ask me)...first read the bible before
>you go blabbing about how it cant be done then talk to some people who know
>what they are talking about (experts on the subject(even if you dont agree
>with them)) and then after you have studied all of the material take a long
>meditation (or prayer) and see what gets stirred up...here are some sources
Except that we can determine the age of mountains. There has never
been a time when the Earth has been as flat as you make it out to be.
I study planetary astronomy, and that means a lot of geology. What
you describe didn't happen. Ever.
>to check out www.drdino.com
Kent Hovind is a proven liar.

Full of crap.
