A look at the relief map of the Morrocan and Mauritanian coastline and their
population density in comparison with Florida should make it clear. Also
the authors don't seem to make any value judgements about the respective
locations so I'm not sure what you're referring to. All the holiday resorts
in the Canaries would be trashed however!
