Dear Don,

You wrote me an interesting post and referred to an actually
interesting pages. But let me avoid analysing your ways of crust
transformation, as out of principal answer - what is the cause of
Earth expansion - this all what you are describing hangs in the air.
Perhaps you understand it well. I'm saying it not in favour of plate
tectonics, neither any other theory. PT is even less substantiated and
corroborated by observed nature. But dependently on the cause, the
events will have basically other explanation. This is the problem and
weak point of all known theories, and this was the reason, why we
began our geological conception from such far distance. We also have
some draft model, and by the way, have not a necessity to admit
something without proof. Our model basically differs from this which
you presented; though, speaking very generally, we also think the
crust transformation on expanding sphere. Well, this will be published
no so soon, somewhere in chapter 8 or later. Let PT-supporters sleep
sweetly. ;-) It would be irrational to argue with them - only skirmish
and mountains of mutual accusations. What you wrote in the next post
can be applied also to what you are saying. It seems more reasonable
to understand, some time ago scientists thought the source of Earth's
heat are underground coal fires; we understand, this was only a stage
of geophysics development, was not it? We have to take into account
the faults of existing theories and correct them. But we have to
correct correctly, next generations to have a firm basis. This is fine
that we have what to correct, to improve, to add. Do you agree? ;-)

Possibly, you would do well for your work, addressing not to separate
secondary processes but thinking of first-range processes. There is
lot of work. But having went through this stage, we can be sure in
trustworthy pattern constructed on a solid ground. Do you know other
works considering the cause of Earth's growth? I would be grateful if
you help me reach them. No matter, how much substantiated. Only the
cause is important which they try to substantiate for the expansion.

Thank you, and all the best,

Sergey
