The obliquity of the ecliptic is about twenty three degrees.

There are eight MAJOR cyclic events affecting the Earths stratigraphic
record. That works out to sixteen possible constructive
reinforcements at least. The actual number is a set of combinations
far greater. Not a trivial problem.
