More light-hearted than what? That camel George in his monkey suit
peddling his Trollart? Isn't that funny enough? Or speculating what
stuart's going to recommend First Year Sophie reads on plate tectonics
from his little friend google, now that Earth expansion is getting
close to top spot in all categories (spreading ridges, transform
faults, subduction zones)? Isn't that funny enough too? Or what
about just talking about "The Jewel in the Crown of the Earth
Sciences" for a real hoot? Anyone got a submission in for funding for
more research on it? (Oh, ...was that not funny? Oh dear...)
The funniest thing of all, I reckon, is the way half of them are
probably lining up for a skin graft whilst the other half are cramming
in the tattshop for a new one. Don't you reckon? I think it's
hilarious, but then my sense of humour is a bit .... .... ....
