Isn't it stange that God spends all His time and energy on a small
handful of people on this tiny planet in our solar system---one star out
of potentially "billions and billions of stars" in our galaxy---which,
I assume, is also one of "billions and billions of galaxies" in the
known universe---as Carl Sagan used to say? Perhaps the world wouldn't
be in such a mess if He spent less time providing sunny days for church
picnics and more alleviating the misery of the starving, the sick, the
enslaved, the victims of oppression, for starters.
