I'm sure there are tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands,
that didn't have near as good a day as you.

I would be interested to see what the tide gauge network has to say
about any
extreme tidal conditions preceeding these three events, two major
subsea
earthquakes and a major tsunami. However, if I may make a modest
suggestion :

*IN THE FUTURE* - if you observe a major earthquake in the ramp up to a
new or full moon, you should look very carefully at the worldwide tidal
gauge data, and issue a worldwide earthquake and tsunami alert,
for at least two days after the corresponding full or new moon.
