If there is a large enough erea that had been denuded or otherwise plowed for
planting, the wind could pick up dust for quite a while, yes. Epecially if it
had been dry for some time beforehand. Another option is that the dust came
from a distance. Dust from China and the Sahara rains down on Florida every
year. The atrmosphere can be quite dusty, in fast. Yes I read the article.
You asked for opinions. This is mine. Take it or leave it.
