Iraqis don't speak, or write Farsi (a Persian tongue). They're Arabs.

That's one of the (many) reasons that people who think that Iran is
going to run the Shias in Iraq, or that Shia Iraqis want a Tehran-like
theocracy don't know what they're talking about. They are Iraqis
first, Arabs second, and only then are they Shia muslims with any
affinity at all to the Persians.
