Articles published in Scientific American are overview pieces, not "new
findings" of the type that routinely get peer review.

But if you think those SciAm articles aren't gone over closely for
credibiltiy and that the authors don't have stature in their fields..... too
bad for you.

As for the hockey stick article. you said:

you a big hint as to whether it only "questions a small aspect" of it...
